hi, peas!

how is it back-to-school time already?! since i don't have any kiddos going back to school, i thought i would do a school page of a different variety. i journaled some things i learned while in college. and i broke out my new handwritten slice card for the layout. exciting!

first, i started with two pieces of basicgrey basics paper. i then got my slice out with the handwritten card and the awesome hands-free kit and went to town cutting out letters. the letters that i cut out are actually the last sentence of my journaling. i just barely adhered each letter to the page because i knew i would machine stitch through the entire line. i printed my journaling onto a tag and added a tiny paper clip. i adhered the tag to the paper in just one small spot because i wanted the edges to stay turned up a bit. lastly, i stamped the ‘proof’ stamp and embossed it with opaque white powder.

this page took some time but i really like the way the big letters look. thanks for looking!
