<p>It has been many, many years since I completed an entire layout without a speck of patterned paper, but it's not often that I use only patterned paper and not a hint of cardstock!  For this page, I substituted a 12x12 sheet of cardboard that held my papers secure in a Two Peas order instead of my background cardstock.  I love sewing on cardboard – there's a certain unpredictability about where the stitches will go that can be fun for a collage-style look.</p>
<p>I love layering patterned papers in the centre of a layout…and the Prima tapes are a real find if you haven't discovered them yet – cute + practical, as they will hold your layers down just like regular adhesive tape, but they are printed to switch it up a bit!  And the roll goes on forever and ever it seems, so you'll be set for life with each roll.  Give it a try and breathe some new life into your patterned papers.</p>
