Project - In Costume by shimelle posted 11/22/10 Galleries: Scrapbooking If your Halloween costumes aren't of the black and orange variety, there's no rule that says you have to scrap them with that traditional Halloween colour scheme! Instead, try treating it as an opportunity to scrapbook a bit of dressing up and match the colours in the photos. For a palette of yellow and blue with a bit of rainbow fun thrown in, I used papers from the Cosmo Cricket Togetherness collection, Cherry Delicious from Sassafras and A Walk in the Park by Echo Park. I intended to just use a plain cream cardstock for the background, but I then realised I didn't have any plain cream left! But no other colour looked quite right. I found this paper in a stack of old supplies I was going to pass on to someone else, and I'm pretty sure I've had this piece of paper in my stash for ten whole years. Well, I guess I was saving it for just the right page after all? But all the other supplies are things you can find in the store currently! |
