For the Document 2012 Class

I love, love, love documenting life this way. It is so fun to see my entire week right there and amazing how many little things happen in just 7 days!

I think the hardest part for me is keeping notes so I use a variety of ways to keep track of what is going on throughout the week. I keep a small notebook in my purse for quick notes or funny things the boys might say. At the end of some days I'll email some of my thoughts and feelings to my (free) account at Ohlife.com and then I'll also pull my statuses from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter from the week. I am all over the place! But it works for me.

I used a mix of digital and physical labels and elements. I also made a few labels of my own (the Fred's Cafe logo) to add a bit of information without taking over the photo or the page. I think that sticker labels are a super easy way to add a date, info, or even a bit of embellishment so I used quite a bit on my spread. The “mini golf” is a digital label added in Photoshop before I printed the picture. I also made a journaling card with a digital label (new photo for a new year).

I think my biggest piece of advice for this project is do what works for you! What works for one person won't work for another so soak up as much info as you can and use what works best for you and your family.
