dorothy....the drop cloth is from "Lowes"......it only cost seven bucks, and covered the front of my table, chair, and ottoman
I just folded the pleats into it and ironed like crazy to get them to stay!
I love the skirt. I have a l-shaped desk and really need a skirt. Where did you get the drop cloth???
I love that you colored the walls and lightened the furnishings. This really looks *spa* like and like a nice retreat to come and enjoy your hobby. Enjoy and TFS.
Oh, I also love that you skirted the table to "hide" those important tools
Your space is gorgeous! So serene and calm. I love your elegant style. TFS!
Thank you sooo much for sharing your scrap room! I LOVE it! The colors are so calming and the skirt on your table is so sweet. I would really get a lot done in this room. I really appreciate that you also shared what was behind the desk. I can`t believe how tidy your "mess" is. I wish my scrappin mess was this tidy Into my BOS TFS
Absolutely beautiful... Your room is so inspirational. Into my BOS! TFS!

BEFORE- (NOT this photo!) Scraproom was a black and red cherry Mary Engelbreit theme. I wanted something CALMER, softer, and less cluttered!
My table is out from the wall and hides A LOT of stuff! LOL! I also have 2 Cropper Hoppers full of paper that are hidden.

For the “AFTER”, I made the table skirt from a cheap canvas drop cloth, measuring every few inches, pinning, hot gluing, then ironing each pleat with lots of starch. That same canvas drop cloth was used to cover the ottoman and desk chair.

This wasn't expensive at all! Drop cloth to make table skirt, and cover the chair and ottoman was only SEVEN dollars!
Curtains $24.00 (Walmart), rug $20.00, paint $42.00 (two gallons, and TWO coats were needed even though they SAID it only took one! ) Paint color is called “Indian Moccasin” .

The most expensive part was the canvas couch cover at Walmart ($80.00)……Baskets with canvas lining were 40% off at Michael's. Small white storage containers are from Target- the handles were grey and I painted them white; the small are $3.00, the large are $6.00.

(**PS…photo 3 is how it REALLY looks when I'm scrappin' and pik 4 shows all the frightening CLUTTER that is **hidden** behind my table! **LOL!** :)
