This is a photo of my sister and I in October. It was taken on the day we returned from the spine specialist and her back brace was taken off. My sister, her DH and 3 yr. old son were in a horrible car accident in July and she broke her back in 2 places. My BIL and nephew escaped with little to no injury. It was/has been a very long healing process for her. There were a lot of emotions on this day for my sister and I. We're very close and I am just so deeply grateful that she's still on this earth! TFL!
