I like the BG--it is subtle behind the scene. I am trying to "interpret" (lack of a better word) the ovals. :) I also like you "stripes" with the fish and PP.

Good job! TFS!

Fish, not dish! Lol maybe I shouldn't use my phone (with autocorrect) to comment!

Thanks for the details on how you made the tag. I love the dish and the dimension of the overall tag!

Fun tag! Thanks for providing the details. Love that fish image and the color scheme you went with. Very summery, the stenciling is great. Did you dye that ribbon or did it come that way? It works so well with the tag. TFS and swapping :-)

Galleries: Stamping

This is for the monthly tag swap.

I made the base, the fish & the top circle from orange manilla.

The base & circle were stenciled with distress ink. The stencil was a rak from Prospurring.

The (striped) fish is I Brake For Stamps. I colored with crayons & a bit of waterbase marker, then fussy cut. I used the same image on the top circle (a Nesty die), but did not color.

The striped strips are from HOTP, as is the green oval (a Nesty die). The remaing oval was done by tearing paper, apply it to a shipping label & cutting with the same oval die. It was tucked in between the top & bottom oval so it (origanally) filled the left side of the tag.

The stencil pattern is starry & the fish & PP provide the stripes.

I used Scor-tape to affix the fish & ovals, but did not apply them completely so there's a bit of dimension to this piece & the ‘torn’ oval could be tucked in, but not permanently.
