Quite a change from the Madame Butterfly of the opera, but does all come together to make a great piece. Sort of a Norse/Asian fusion thing going on. Love the nibbled, embossed curtain.
Great use of your components! I like the embossed butterfly piece. Until I blew the image up, I thought your lady was a bear, lol! Think its time to get my eyes checked again!
I especially like the coloring on those butterflies. I am going to bookmark this so I can remember to try using crayons to color butterflies! Your scene is so funny! I like all your components!
I like the colors you put together---They really accent each other! I like the embossed paper corner---with the stamping and punch outs all on embossing! so neat! I had to look again to figure out the opera singer! lol! For some reason it took my brain a little bit of time to "see" her mouth as a mouth---I thought it was an eyeball! LOL!!!
Such fun! TFS!
Project - Madame Butterfly?

I made this out of ‘components’ that I had hanging around.
The base is CS that someone sent me–love the purple plaid!
The ‘curtain’ started out for on of Eager's color challenges. I used crayon to color in the butterflys that were just stamped in black. The embossing, punchouts & nibbling were already done previously.
'Brunhilde' is a rakked stamp that I had stamped in black on copy paper. I used crayons & fussy cutting.
The lattice is a rakked diecut & the ‘stage’ is a scrap of PP.
The butterfly (lower left) is a ‘new’ component. It's a gatefold card. Inside it says "Madame Butterfly?)
