I was looking at our Christmas tree and had a copper acorn ornament next to a pink boot ornamnet of my daughter's...I loved the copper and pink, looked warm & cozy. I didn't have a lot of copper in my stash except for little things, so I painted a "mat" for my picture with some acrylic paint. I added red & green to the mix for my color combo...also, the sketch is based on one of Kelly Purkey's Sketchpad sketches.
