My husband caught this photo of my oldest on one of his first days of Middle School…so emotional for me (thankfully, not for him!)

The page was created on a BasicGrey sheet of cardstock-a solid distressed off-whitish piece of patterned paper.
I adhered the main photo on lined ‘school’ paper and stitched with embroidery floss along the left side. The title is a combination of Studio Calico letter stickers [twopeasinabucket.com] & Studio Calico patterned paper [twopeasinabucket.com] (I cut the individual letters out). I cut several small rectangles of patterned paper, inked the edges and adhered them in a line along the bottom of the page. The little pencils are from an older Cosmo Cricket patterned paper-so cute!
