Galleries: Scrapbooking

I created this page by starting with a smallish photo (2.5 x 4) mounted on vellum, with the edges machine stitched, and the photo pop-dotted. The title was created with my favorite Studio Calico alpha stamps, stamped on a variety of patterned papers, then cut out. Above the title is a strip of paper that has been spritzed with mist {I used a circle punch to create a mask for the mist}.

The journaling block is a piece of pink cardstock, with rounded corners. I stamped a Technique Tuesday stamp (one of Ali Edwards [twopeasinabucket.com] - love- ) with pink ink onto vellum and attached it to the cardstock. Along the top, I adhered a strip of tape and then machine stitched it to the page.

Along the right side, I cut out several borders using the Silhouette [twopeasinabucket.com] (I also used it to make the cute ‘date’ embellishment). I added stamped buttons, punched circles and brads on top of the borders using glue dots.

Along the bottom of my journaling spot and photo, I attached a small strip of a piece of walnut inked (who remembers that?!) crumpled cardstock that I found in my scrap stash. Along the top, I used the Fiskar notebook border punch [twopeasinabucket.com].

Thanks for looking!
