Wow! I LOVE the way you store your pens. what a great idea.
HI Eclectic stuff have not done as well as I would have liked. I probably got through the 2009 challenge up to week 13. I think I am going to need a long vacation to whip this into shape. My one afternoon off every week is just not enough time since it is usually jam packed with errands. The pen holder is a wine rack from target and I bought some clear acrylic tumblers to go in there.
So how did you do? Just curious. I love your space and your storage solutions are fantastic. I wanted to tell you how much I love your pen holder.
haha, there you are. Your space looks like mine right now! Yes, its going to be a huge challenge for both of us to get our spaces whipped into shape. I have just as much stuff as you have and very little space.
OMG! I definitely want to see how you conquer this. You obviously are keeping up with the trends because I see newer products in there. I am amazed and in awe. Do you get things accomplished? What if this is the way you work best?
Oh, Peadidoc, how did you get anything scrapped? The best part is that you have some great "bones" to work with. I say you'll do great! Keep us posted <img border='0' src='/graphics/mbicons/smilies_v2/grin.gif'>
I absolutely love that stamp pad storage thingy! I've the stampin' up ones, but this looks (and, from your description, sounds) better!
Project - Organizing my stuff Challenge Before!!

I just wrote a description of all 20 pictures and it all erased somehow. I think that I am going to upload and come back to this. Oh my, I am just so annoyed that it all erased!!!
All right take two on updating what all of this is! Pic 1) This is the view when you walk inside my scraproom. It would make any scrapper turn and run. Also, makes any nonscrapper think that this is a junk room or as my husband says, “a garage sale gone bad!” The windows are along the East wall. 2)This is the South Wall. I have a closet that I cannot get to. What is hanging off of the closet door is the Crop in Style PUnch Pal. This is a discontinued item that I found on ebay. I actually have several but only two are hanging from the doors. This is how I like to store my punches. Underneath it is the rollable storage unit. I got this from QVC, I think, it is where I put some of my papers, albums and also one of the cutting systems. Beyond it are two very tall and very large metal shelves. They hold a lot of different things such as baskets filled with giga punches, stampin' up stamps, lots of different kits, more paper in 12 by 12 vertical paper holders. Pic 3)Another punch pal by Crop in Style. This is hanging by the entry door. Pic 4) Most of this pic is of the South wall and on the far left is part of the West wall. Along the South wall there are some totes with my Barbie collection. Those will have to stay there. The remainder of the wall if made up by a 2 by 4 Ikea expedit. The 2 by 4 is not in feet, that is just the number of cubbies. I choose to put it up vertically. This is what I want to have laying on it's side. If I do that I will have to move the 4 ft by 2 ft table next to it. There are some totes filled with photos. Thank goodness those photos are all labeled. Just can“t get to them. Underneath is a wire 2 drawer file with mostly acrylic stamps.
(The baby is up and I will be back).
Pic 5) Now you can see the floor. Most of the stuff is behind my chair so there is really no room to walk except a very narrow path. Sometimes when I am organizing I feel like I am just moving one pile to from one place to another. Pic 6) North East corner of the room. On the left is the right edge of the small table. In the corner is a an Iris cart from The Container Store that came with a butcher block on it. I really like this but good be organized much better. On top is my rotating ink stamp, reinker storage. I really love this. It holds all my stampin'up inks and many other ink pads. Just wish it was more within reach. Pic 7 and 8) Acrylic paint storage. It rotates. Found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. Pic 9) Clip it up Pic 10) This is of both the clip it up and the acrylic turn-a-bout that are on top of two sterilite drawers. The top is just a white board from some bookshelves from walmart. Pic 11, 12, 13) This is the Ink pad, marker and reinker revolving storage that I got from ebay. It holds just about any ink pad out there, including the distress pads from Tim Holtz. Also, holds markers and reinkers. Perfect for those of you that have all colors from stampin' up so that you can store your matching markers and reinkers right next to it. It is very heavy 18 inches wide and 22 inches tall. On top you can also have some more stuff for storage. The ”mega ink holder" as I call it it sitting on an Iris Cart from The Container Store. The top of the iris cart has an almost butcher block type top to it. Also, very heavy and sturdy. It is very long and has three big drawers. Pic 14-18) This is my favorite find. This is a stickler holder from England. It is made by ebay seller ID rodpatient. the XL holds 36 stickles and the regular size holds 18. Each tier revolves on its own. I really love this since you can store your stickles upside down. Maybe I can paint it when I organize my room. 19 and 20) This is how I store my copics, and some of my markers, sharpies and frequently used pens that I want within reach on my desk. The wine rack is from Target and the glasses are nice plastic glasses also from target.
Stay tuned. Hopefully in a few months this will looks much better.
