Part 2, more organization solutions...
1 - My Sizzix storage. I've been happy with the tower system on the counter.
2 - Quickutz storage in the Magpie tins. I've used the QK binder and slide sheets and this by far is my favorite. I have them filed in numerical order, and the actual shapes in my inventory binder (see part 3). I always go to my binder first when looking for a die then cross-reference to the Magpie. All my extra shims and the cookie cutter dies are in the bottom drawers.
3 - My "frequently used tools" storage. I keep it on my counter because The Boy is crafty and can reach things on my project table (and for some strange reason, toddlers and Xacto knives don't mix according to CPS!). The unit is a set of 3 wooden garden pots on a little tray bought on clearance in the garden section of Hobby Lobby. It adds a lot of character and only cost me $1.99.
4 - Upper cabinet #1 from the pantry units. All the plastic boxes on their sides are my chipboard storage. They're "project boxes" from Office Max - about 1" thick and clasp really well. I have the chipboard broken down by theme (floral, circles, squares, etc), one per box. They stack nicely and snap tight. You can get them cheaper when Office Max has those "everything in the bag is 15% off" sale.
5 - My blade storage, another garden section find from Hobby Lobby. Cute wood box with a leather handle. I keep all my "specialty" cutters in here, also Xacto refills.
6 - My clear alphabet stamp storage (small sets). I use the CD case storage system and kraft CD/DVD boxes from Target. All my cases are labeled on end by number, which corresponds to my Rolodex filing system (described later).
7 - Pen, chalk and art supply storage. I use the original Zig pen rack for my Zig pens, along with the "X" boxes from Office Depot to house my other pens (Micron, gels, etc). All my embossing supplies are in the wooden planter box (guess where from), and my Close To My Heart stamps are in the CTMH boxes (which are worth the cost, in my opinion). I found a great pencil case at Dick Blick for my Prisma pencils - it's a zippered leather case that pretty much holds the complete set.
8 - The corner cabinet. All my cutting tools and Xyrons are up here. Alpha stamps are on the top shelf.
9 - First cabinet on the "flower wall." Top shelf houses all my stamps - I've unmounted my wood ones to EZ Mount, and my foam ones fit up here too. I organize all those by theme (baby, punctuation, swirls, etc) in the $1 boxes from Target. The stamps stick to both sides inside the plastic case. On the second shelf is where I keep track of them - 2 Rolodexes, one for alpha stamps and one for non-alphas. Next shelf is my boxes of alpha rub ons and my accordian file which houses cards ready-to-go. Bottom shelf is my flowers.
10 - I sorted all my flowers by color (yeah, that was fun...not). Each color has 2 large cookie jars (from Hobby Lobby) and numerous Prima "Got Flowers" jars. The larger flowers go into the big jars, and the smaller ones are organized by type into the smaller jars. It took me a long time to get to this system, but it's worked wonderfully - I can find what I need and better yet, get to it fast and without making a mess!
11 - All my boxed alpha rub ons are stored here. The carved wood box is clearance from the garden section of Hobby Lobby (no, they don't know my name there yet).
12 - My stamp inventory system. The alphas have a Rolodex, the non-alphas have a Rolodex (bought on clearance at Office Depot). Each alphabet set I have is assigned a number. When I need an alpha stamp, I flip through my alpha Rolodex. I have one set per page - I've either scanned them, or more commonly, just cut out the package insert that came with it. When I find the set I want, I look at the number on that page. That's assigned to a case on my shelf (either in the CD

I have a question. What are the boxes your stamps are in, and where do I find them? Thanks

What a fantastic and beautiful space. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain your various organization systems. I for one am "organizationally challenged!" I tend to move things around and never know what to do with them. You are an inspiration. Enjoy your wonderful space and TFS.

How organised are you! What great storage ideas. It must have taken a little while to organise and sort through all of your beautiful flowers.

Now that I have picked myself off the floor, and have my breath back, I can say something.
I have heard that in Texas everything is bigger, BUT this tops it all, this is AN AWSOME SCRAPROOM!!!!
