Project - 5 favourite Christmas decorations *HMITM #63*
posted 12/21/07 at 05:31 AM
The challenge was to do a list with 5 things about the holidays and to use 5 patterned papers, 5 stamps, 5 ribbons, 5 embellishments and 5 fasterners. I decided to do a list about my favourite Christmas decorations. I didn't have a photo of one of them and couldn't take one since it is in Sweden, so I used a stamped image instead. The heart brads were embossed with verdigris embossing powder. The lower edge of the layout was cut off by the scanner, the white doodled frame goes all around IRL. The journaling translates:

1. The Christmas Manger: my Christmas manger that I made when I was about six years old. My absolutely most important Christmas decoration. 2. The Santas: the Santas that Ingrid and I got two years in a row from Santa Claus. I only recently found out that mom actually bought them in the toy store, we never really knew for sure who they were from. 3. The snow Santa: my little Santa in a glass bubble filled with water ands now. I dropped it the first morning and the foot broke and was fixed with plaster of Paris. 4. The clay Santas: my small clay Santas that I made so many of in a few years. Lots of relatives have a few and I also sold some. 5. Nittsjö-Santas: the newest addition to the list. I get happy by just looking at these cute Santas. TFL!!
