I missed this last year. This is such a cute card.
I really like your use of the acetate over the photo. What a great idea and I am going to work with that. Love that it gives you two ways to see the photo. Off to find my stash of acetate.
I consider this part of my challenge.
I love combining photos with stamping, and love your idea of using the acetate over the photo. This is really nice, Anna-Karin!
nice job...love how well the stamps go with the photo.

This card is for the Hero Arts October challenge (Photo card theme) and for Stamping Month #1(I've been wanting to use my new deer stamp). I took this photo in Norway while cross-country skiing and thought it fit well for a Christmas card. I made an acetate overlay, which you can lift up to see the photo in its ‘unembellished’ form. Snowflakes, the deer and dots were stamped on the acetate using Stazon metallic Platinum ink. The deer was stamped twice on cardstock and colored with distress inks. I used only the scarf from the one image. I cut off the antlers and glued it on top of the Stazon deer. TFL!!
Supplies: Hero Arts stamps: Enjoy the Season, Small Fancy Reindeer, Holiday Sayings, Cling Dots; Stazon metallic Platinum ink; Distress inks: Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Stormy Sky, Fired Brick; Fiskars scalloped punch; Kaisercraft rhinestones; Ranger enamel accents (eyes).
