it's beautiful...

Beautiful card! You need to frame it!

This is perfect! Love the colors and the way you added the trees and the flourish at the bottom. Definitely my favorite!

Wonderful! What fabulous letterpress technique! Stunning embossed background. Love your tree stamp.

this is stunning! I love that you were so successful in this technique... it's a little tricky! :)

This card is for Holiday Thinking Inking week 4 (dabber paint), project 3 (faux letterpress), and for Stamping Month 3 (use letter stamp to write the sentiment). I had to try a few times before I managed to get a good impression with the paint and the embossing folder. Thank you Godelieve for suggesting to use a brayer, that worked better than the cut'n dry foam for me. It was in a bit hard to get enough paint on the embossing folder and at the same time avoiding messing outside the raised areas. I used gold dabber paint and a Cuttlebug folder. The grungeboard swirl was painted with left over paint. The trees were stamped with lettuce and espresso dabber. The background cardstock is gold embossed with a stamp with Swedish Christmas songs. ‘God Jul’ means ‘Merry Christmas’. TFL!!!

Supplies: Stampelboden text stamp, Great Impressions tree stamp, Hero Arts letter stamps; Cuttlebug embossing folder; Dabber paint: gold, lettuce, espresso; Distress Inks: Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint; Kaisercraft rhinestones; grungeboard.
