Project - Daffodils

I love everything about this just has so many amazing elements to it - TFS!!!!

Ann, This is a gorgeous card. Lots of details to be savored. I love the border on the left of the focal image, it looks like a doily too. And the texture added by the orange mat really sets the doily vase of nicely. And who wouldn't love this bouquet. TFS Love it!

Wow, your folded doily is perfection. I very l much like the cone effect and I agree with Daniel about the look of fine linen napkin.

Your flowers are so beautiful as well.

OH, Anna! I love everything about this piece! My fave is the way the top of the folded doily has such depth. Looks like a fine linen napkin!

Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking

This card is for Ann's challenge on the Stamping Board to use doilies. I folded up a doily and placed the flowers and leaves inside it, as a bouquet. The flowers were stamped and embossed on watercolour paper and coloured with Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw and Wild Honey), water and Perfect Pearls. The dots were clear embossed on glossy paper and Adirondack inks (Lettuce and Meadow) were sponged on top. ‘Glad pask’ means ‘happy Easter’ in Swedish. TFL!!

Supplies: Darkroom Door Daffodil stamp; Hero Arts Solid Dots Pattern, Printer's Lowercase; Distress inks: Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw and Wild Honey; Perfect Pearls; Adirondack ink Lettuce and Meadow; glossy paper; Cuttlebug embossing folder; doily; ribbon.
