This is beautiful.! The embossed and sanded cardstock is amazing. I love all of your embellishements as well, the phones, lace, stitching, flowers. It all adds up to one incredible layout.
The way you did that background is very cool and so unique. Awesome page.
Anna-Karin, I LOVE the background you created ! It's so pretty, and different. The colour combo is really nice and lends itself beautifully with the photo. Great job! TFS.

This layout is for Color Combos Galore #188, with dry embossing as theme. I cut up a sheet of Coredinations cardstock into squares, embossed then with patterns that worked well with the theme of the layout and sanded them. Two of the flowers were also dry embossed and then inked. The flower, alphabet and quote were white embossed on vellum. I also had some fun with shrink plastic and stamped the little man, the telephone and the number strip on white shrink plastic. I also used a normal sized impression of the phone (symbolizing that he can talk to his godparents any time). The trim was coloured with Pumice Stone Distress Ink to fit the colour combo. The title was stamped with the same ink on sticky back canvas. The journaling is on the tag behind the photo and is about my sister and her DH being godparents and what that means, for instance that they will always listen and try to help. TFL!!
