So gorgeous, Anna-Karin! I can't believe that paper is 7 yrs. old! Looks beautiful:)
Hi, Anna-Karin! These are both stunning! I love seeing them side-by-side to compare your results. I love how the shadow really makes the stamped images seem more dimensional. :-)
Each of your cards are perfection. The color combinations are so yummy. Can't wait to do this challenge
oh--your cards are so beautiful! I love the circle shape and the depth the shadow adds!
These are both beautiful. Your shadows turned out perfectly, and I love the extra dimension it gives. I hadn't though of embossing the second layer, and it gives such a lovely effect. TFS. Daria

Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking
These are two of the sample cards for my WSW11 challenge Layers of Ink, using the technique of overstamping/shadow stamping. Here I used shadow stamping techniques.
1. In the first card, the leaf stamp was first stamped with Colorbox Frost White on kraft cardstock, heat dried, and then restamped with brown dye ink, making sure to stamp it a bit to the side of the original image to create a shadow.
2. In the second card, the flower was stamped with Colorbox ink as in the first card, but the shadow was stamped with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. It gave a more defined shadow than on the first card. The background is a piece of paper I watercoloured with dye inks many years ago (my guess is about 7 years), so I was happy to finally use some of it. TFL!!
