Beautiful! I love all the details you incorporated in these gorgeous tags. TFS
these are fantastic!
These are wonderful. Thank you for giving the details. It's interesting to see the difference in how the stain blended or defined separate areas when you misted after and before applying the stain. I love all the details. Now you just need to make two more--winter and fall. TFS. Daria

These tags are for the Hero Arts August challenge (make a scene theme). I love making little scenes. The backgrounds were done with Distress Stains and water. On the Wind tag, the stains were applied to the tag and then it was misted with water to blend. On the Sun tag, the tag was misted with water first. The sun was embossed, sanded and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink. I glued definitions of ‘wind’ and ‘sun’ from an old dictionary to grungepaper and die cut the houses from that. The roofs were die cut a second time, embossed, painted, sanded and then inked. A piece of mica is sandwiched between the windows on the pink house. Words from the dictionary were added to the tags ('wind' and the definition of ‘sunburst’). The windy tree was coloured with pencils and Distress Stickles were applied to both tags. Flowersoft was used for the flowers on the Wind tag. The ribbon was dyed with Broken China Distress Stain. TFL!!
