Storyland!! I have so many pictures just like these :) We haven't be there for years now - but I need to scrap those older memories. Fun layout!
I like the photo placement as well. Very fun page.
Nice use of the resist ink technique!
Love the roller coaster paper! The stepping down of the photos supports the theme so well too!

My ds' favorite ride at Story Land. I bought this pp from MME ages ago thinking eventually my kids would be old enough to ride a roller coaster!
Inspiration came from 3 places: Stash Busters (using teal/red/white or cream in this case, 3 patterned papers, and a 2peas challenge). Two challenges inspired me while working on this page.
In the Mood to Scrap: I really wanted to try this resist technique. I obviously need more practice! This type of thing is way out of my comfort zone and I thank you for the challenge! It was messy for me, and I always have trouble reconciling that with my usual style! I also had to play around with the medium I used. I tried watered down alcohol ink first, but didn't have the right colors. I ended up using acrylic paint. The paper did curl and I tried to fix it by adhering the whole page to another piece of cardstock and while improved, it still doesn't lie flat. I am sure it will be fine in a page protector!!
213 in 2013: I used the background paper as my guide to place the photos. I guess technically it is a boy page too!
Sorry for the wonky photo!
