You do have those on the mainland - they are all over San Francisco. They may be called New Zealand Christmas tree or Metrosideros excelsa? They are really big. They don't have them in Hawaii (it is too warm).

I didn't realise that NZ had bumble bees. They have them in Tasmania but not here on the mainland. They are much larger and furrier than ordinary bees.

So nice to see some color after the total white out we have been having here. Great detail on the bee and I love the repetition in the last shot.

Oh nice work! THose bees can be so quick. Thanks for the name of the flower, too. We don't have those on the mainland. I really like the last shot--the repetition of the solors and shapes is very nice.
