MEEOWW!! What a great layout. I have disagree with you on the printing...You will be shocked and how GREAT it will look! You have done a wonderful job with the shading and that will make the final print look so real. People will have to touch it to make sure it is NOT Paper! Trust me!
Beautiful page! And such an adorable cat!
oh, I don't know about that prediction. Print it, you will be amazed. You have some great elements on this lo, and it will translate well to the printed page. great first lo (can't believe it's your first!!) great colors on this.
This page is absolutely gorgeous. Don't know which I love the best, the design or the photo. TFS
What a great looking cat!

OK, so I said no digital scrapbooking because I work in an office with a computer all day (planning and landscape architecture), and this hobby was going to get me out from in front of that screen. But I've been secretly buying digital kits (mostly because I am a scrap supply addict) but also because I love designing on the computer and the endless flexibility it provides.
So anyway, here's the first digital page. I do like how quickly they can be done, how you can make any element whatever color or size you need, and of course how you can abuse that really fabulous “undo” key. But must admit, when this page is printed, I don't think I will prefer it over the textural qualities and dimensions you get in paper scrapbooking. But I could head into the paper-digi hybrid zone.
