Project - Mom's 79th Birthday Dinner *NSD Pea Profile*
posted 05/03/08 at 08:53 AM
It's kind of a tradition for the family to take Mom to Willoughby Brewing Company for her birthday. Neither one of us likes beer, but we always split a sampler of the beer brewed there. They use very creative ingredients, and some of it is quite good. Cherie Mask Pink October and Anne Langpap 2peas June 07 Freebie Pink Floral Papers; Rhonna Farrer Single Botanical Photo Card, Single Invitation, and Sweet Pea Brushes. Font is Jane Austen. Software, Adobe PSE5.
I started with a very basic “rule of thirds” design and created clipping masks for the paper and photos. The papers are all blended using hard light. The ribbon is Anne's paper clipped to a narrow mask. The text from Rhonna's invitation appears in the lower left corner, and her very cute birds are blended into the frame using multiply, which makes the white bg disappear into the frame.
