I made my son & daughter-in-law a unique clock for a Christmas gift. I bought a clock kit on sale at Michael's for $7, and used the wood plaque and movement as the base, painted it white, and created my own graphics. My kids love the mid-century modern graphic style, so I had fun creating something that would look very retro, yet contemporary in colors that they like.

I thought it came out great, maybe I'll make some more!
