Project - SOF10 -- Just Do It! Stamping w/Bleach by eagertoretire posted 10/04/10 at 04:47 PM Galleries: Stamping I've always wanted to try this. The last image (taken minus the flash) was the basis for both of the cards. A couple of lessons learned...some papers don't bleach and lots of bleach may cause mixed results (happy accidents!) On the first card for example, the bleach caused some yellow to be produced. As you can see I used that and I think it works. :)I guess that may be obvious but I'll mention I over stamped on the first card & didn't on the second. |

The Bleaching Technique can be quite fun, and you created some fun samples with this technique! It makes one want to play with this technique more and more. TFS

Marshia, good for you! Your cards turned out great! I love the first one with the overstamping. When I clicked on the second card, I was surprised to see that I really like that one too. The thumbnail didn't do it justice.
Thank you for playing.

Did you stamp twice to get the darker pink color? Looks great!

The flower was stamped with bleach on pink paper and then I stamped over that with the SU Ruby red. Does that answer your question? TFL

Hi, Marshia! Gorgeous cards! I especially like the one where you bleached AND overstamped! And thanks for showing photos of your work in progress, too! :-)
