Wonderful that you cut your own stencil. I have to remember that all those Circut images can be used for stenciling.
Love the results! The cherry blossoms are so delicate!
This is so earthy and pretty, great style for a teapot!
I was just cruising quickly through the gallery, and I came to a complete stop when I saw this.
I absolutely love it. It's beautiful and whimsical, and homey. If it were mine, I'd frame it.
Thank you for playing.

Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking
I so wanted to do another of the challenges using stencils and masking. I cut the stencil using the Circut and masked over a piece of white cardstock. I used drafters tape to hold the stencil in place. The second image kind of shows the main steps in on pic.
I then sprayed the whole teapot with Adirondak Color Wash (Lettuce) I dabbed on Colorbox black ink onto the handle and lid. Layed the American Crafts stencil (Bubbles) over the bottom half of the tea pot and sprayed with Adirondak Color Wash (stream). Stamped the cherry blossoms - SU Artfully Asian and filled the blossoms with Copic Shock Pink (RV04). using a black marker I also opened the teapot spout.
Not sure how/if I'll use this but it was fun to do.
