Very cute, love the banner, too.

Great banners. Great colours.

Thank you for all the sweets comments, everyone. Yes, I did make the banner. I alternated punched stars and scalloped circles (folded in half) on baker's twine, and then anchored the ends with brads.

Very pretty. Did you make that banner?

I like the 'adventure' card tucked in there! It all works great on the kraft background. x

the papers look awesome with the photo and subject and the kraft b/g is perfect!

This layout is for the “Ten Brands” CHA challenge. My ten brands are Basic Grey (patterned paper, brads, and buttons), Bazzill Basics (kraft cardstock), Webster's Pages (blue velvet leaves), Prima (flower), American Crafts (Thickers, stickers, and pen), Whisker Graphics (envelope), Doodlebug Designs (twine), Scenic Route (letter stickers), My Mind's Eye (chipboard button and washi tape), and Bella Blvd (washi tape). Bonus: brand #11 October Afternoon (die cut card).

I anticipated this to be a much more difficult challenge than it actually was for me. Turns out, I use a lot more little bits and pieces when I make my layouts than I thought! I really love the fun, eclectic look of all of these odds and ends pulled together. It very much reminds me of all the funky patterns I associate with my childhood.

(The design is inspired by a layout by Kellee Goree on the Basic Grey blog.)
