Project - Baby Banner: Parker by JennyChesnick posted 01/23/12 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Altered Projects, Home Decor Good Morning Peas! Well it's been awhile since I have made a banner. They are one of my favorite things to make especially for baby shower gifts. Now this one of for my very own baby Parker due to arrive around May 27th. I asked the Peas awhile ago for a paper line in THIS THREAD [twopeasinabucket.com] that went with my bedding. They came up with Basic Grey's Piccadilly line. While the colors do not matchy match they certainly go with the bedding. I loved how it all came out! I like to layer several pieces on each pennant. You can see the the coordinating pennants "match" each other. So when building I really do two at a time. The center is usually it's own style because I think that is where most people look first. If you think you can't tackle a banner, you certainly can! Some names are just too long and time consuming so how about a nick name? or the initials of the child. You could also do a mini banner. Maya Road makes 2 inch banners that are perfect for quick and easy gifts as well. I hope to see your banner creations soon! TFL :) |

Very cool! I love the detail on this. I made something similar for my daughters room a couple of years ago. I also wanted to add that my daughter was due on May 20th! But she was born May 8th :) So maybe you'll go early too! Hopefully?? ;)
