Project - A Hard Rock Cafe layout from when we Lived ... by Whosthischick posted 11/21/12 at 09:07 AM Galleries: Scrapbooking We first visited the HRC for the food…it tasted like home. Then the first Gulf War began, and it was a place the American enlisted came to while on their way. In the begin-ning, they were all gung-ho thinking this would be over fast. Then after the first friendly fire, the next group that came thru was more scared and quiet, heading to who knows where. This was really war in our lifetime. That impacted us quite a bit. HRC was already a favorite place away from home, and now we had this memory. So we continue to visit HRC wherever we can, and say a silent toast to all our service men and women… we collect pins to remember this. |
