Very clever. I love ways to be more frugal.
I did something like that too with a bag I had around the house. I like your 2 hole idea. <img border='0' src='/images/icons/wink.gif'>
Awesome idea! Love it.
Great job.

Project - Travel Ribbon Holder by scrap22 posted 01/11/08 at 03:57 PM Galleries: Scrapbooking This is the answer to your prayers. I don't have a scraproom so I needed a way to store my ribbon and be able to travel with it as well. I found something similar online for $20! I'm a college student, I can't afford that. So I improvised. I found this yard holder at Michael's for $8.99 and I used my 40% off coupon. It is clear vinyl with a zipper closure. I pinched the clear vinyl and then took my Crop-A-Dile and punched a small hole, so it made two holes very close together. I then took a pair of scissors and cut the piece in between the two holes to connect them. This helps keep the ribbon in place and not falling out and such. Then I just filled with my ribbon, pulling 2" out of the hole so I can easily see it. |
