Part of the honor of guesting this week was that I was with YOU! I follow your blog all the time and love your pages & often find lots to be inspired by - especially with this project, because your PL rocks serious! This week was no different - beautiful!
Love what you did with the office theme, and your idea of scanning memorabilia to scale things down is genius! Such a great layout!

Project - 2012 : captured // august guest - PL WK 30 by choose2b posted 08/07/12 at 11:17 AM Galleries: Scrapbooking For Week 30 for Project Life, I didn't have as many photos, so I was able to keep this week down to just one page. I pulled out lots of lined and graphed papers, simple circles, and grey diagonal lines to go along with the “office” feel for the theme. Then I pulled out washi tapes, stamps, some old mini folders, and my Dymo machine that would also go with the “office” theme. This was such a fun week to do and it went so fast having all the supplies pulled out already. There are some Project Life weeks that are my favorites, and this would be one of them. I love the “office” theme look, because the photos and a few of the papers and embellishments added the color, making the neutral colors of the papers fast and easy to work with. A win/win for doing Project Life. I love to save tags, mail, and cards. If the memorabilia doesn't fit into the week, I make sure to keep it along with lots of drawings from my daughter in a pocket in the back of my album. But if a tag can fit like in the two examples, I will add it. I will scan some of the drawings from my daughter and mail I receive, like the American Crafts postcard, and then I can print them to the size I need to fit within the week. Thanks again, Lisa, for asking me to join in for this weeks class http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/classes_and_events/classes/62-2012-captured-with-lisa-truesdell/ [twopeasinabucket.com] |
