Galleries: Scrapbooking

I found these pictures on my daughters phone. She and her friend dancing in the hallway at her school. The title popped into my head immediately and I wanted to make it the focal point.

I wanted big letters. I used an ancient Quickutz font (yep still have them) which I layered up 4 ontop of each other to get a thickers effect. The word impromptu was too large so I used some pebbles corrigated alphas - they went well with the wood veneer butterflies. The butterflies I chose because I think of “butterflies are free.” These pictures have feeling of being free. I used the multicolored polka dot paper because it screamed party confetti.

It might be hard to tell but I used a sheet of vellum in the bottom half of the LO. I wanted to cool rays of the background paper to show through but to have it toned down at bit.
