Project - Fancy Swampers - CHA Challenge 7 by shirt posted 01/19/13 at 01:53 AM Galleries: Scrapbooking Used 7 patterns. Journaling Reads: When I was a kid, most boys wore sorrell boots. We called them “swampers.” They were big, chunky, and ugly. Swamp mud brown, orange soles, and bright yellow laces. As ugly as they were, they kept out snow and wet like no other. In high school, some girls, including myself, wore them as an anti-fashion statement. I got these boots at Target. Wow - have times changed. They make fancy swampers now. Love these boots! They are cute and practical for Minnesota snow. |
