Project - Living with the in-laws and scrapbooking by vottinger posted 05/14/09 at 11:07 AM My husband lost his job, so we moved in with his parents for a while, as he looks for work. We put 99% of our stuff in storage, and we're left with what can fit in one room and a closet. Simple living! Here's how I've arranged things so that I have easy access to my scrapbooking supplies (I'm grateful I don't have that much to begin with!). Since my in-laws are selling their house in preparation for moving, everything has to remain "put away" for potential visiting buyers, unless I'm actually scrapbooking at the desk. I have most of it in the closet, with my scrapbook magazines, and the rest is organized in a bookcase that belongs to my in-laws. It's nice to know I can still scrapbook (using supplies I already own - plus digital), and that there's space for it and it's organized! |
