I've not been married for very long (we're going into our 5th year now), but so far I've done an album for the first three years of our marriage. I plan to keep going with an album for every year until I'm tired of it, lol. Each album is different, but the binders themselves are the same (black leather albums from AC).

I kept this album simple by repeating photo collages, paper piecing, gems, stamping and stickers. I mixed in 6x6 page protectors I had on hand already, and enjoyed “suspending” elements within the protectors with staples. This was where I did most of my journaling.
The collages were created by uploading images to WalMart and then choosing the “make collage” option. You have the option to refresh the collage until it makes an arrangement you're happy with. I chose to go this route b/c I felt lazy with photos and didn't want to print hundreds and crop them! This helped me to avoid having to make the decision of how and where to arrange them. I printed 4x6's of the photos I wanted to focus on for the layout subject. I don't know that I'll do this again b/c it was pretty expensive! The title page was made by making a collage of the collages. The collages in pic 3 and 5 were made using Erica's template I've linked below. I love the stitching in it!

There's a lot of scraplifting going on here. The layering of stickers & borders, punching of circles & journaling in them, and use of big bold titles, were definitely a product of being inspired byKristina [twopeasinabucket.com]. I <3 her pages. And the paper piecings are a result of admiring Kelli Crowe's [twopeasinabucket.com]work. There's probably a lot of other scraplifting that I did and did not realize. :) TFL!
