I have always wanted to go to a horse race!
Awesome photos!

Those frames are really great, they really make this layout stand out! Really good.

Love that silhouette, and the layers are just perfect...

P.S. - Grandad looks just like Anthony Hopkins!

Cool layout and great photos! The colors are great, and I love the frames! The title and journaling on the photos is great too!

Well the frames are really cool and they definitely add the perfect amount of pop to the LO, so mission accomplished!

Those frames are AWESOME! I don't even quite understand how you did them but they add so much to an otherwise clean lined layout. Fantastic!

For the Pub Ad Challenge and the digital board challenge to use stamps/brushes. The frames were inspired by the ribbon in the ad. I wanted the photos to have some energy to them. The frames gave me motion and the color pop I was looking for.

edited to add: the horse and jockey silhouette are my own design :)

Journaling: As a father's day gift for dad and granddad, I got tickets to see live horse racing at the fairgrounds this summer. We had shaded track side seats and a lunch buffet. Dad won enough to pay for our preferred parking plus some pocket change. Sarah and dad enjoyed trying to figure out which horse was going to win based on the jockey record as well as how often the horse had won. They were very good at it!
