Project - Songs I have loved

This is SO AWESOME, Karen!!! Wow!! Love, love, love the text blurring. Super crazy great. =)

AWSOME!!!! How did you do the paper piecing of yourself?

Super idea! I read your list for ideas! I'm so out of it when it comes to contemporary music, but, I am open to new ideas.

I think I have most of those songs on my ipod! Love the shadow of the rockers on the disk and who's the girl in the center? Did you draw that or did Illustrator/photoshop? Love it!

Added that I read your comments after I left this and saw that you "paper pieced" yourself.

I was smiling AND humming through the whole list!! Something about old favorite songs that lifts the spirit immeasurably! Another innovative incredibly effective design!

Really fun, I was smiling through the whole list. You reminded me with this that motion can mean many things. Music itself is a form of motion. Anyway I love your title, and the best, of course, is the little YOU! Fabulous, energetic stuff Karen!

For the digital challenge to simulate motion with blurring. I wanted to blur the title so the rest of it stands out. All done in Illustrator. I used the SPIN blur and increased the intensity as it went around. I also made a digital layered “paper piecing” of myself to put in the middle.

Rex; Free Bird – Lyndyrd Skynyrd; Sweet Emotions – Aerosmith; Crosby Stills Nash and Young; Fly Like an Eagle – Steve Miller; Whole Lotta Love – Led Zepplin; Knocking on Heaven's Door – Bob Dylan; Hot Blooded – Foreigner; Love is Alive – Gary Wright; Magic Carpet Ride – Steppenwolf; Let it Ride – Bachman-Turner Overdrive; Pretty Woman – Van Halen; The Breakup – Greg Kihn; Stranglehold – Ted Nugent; American Pie – Don McLean; Share the Land – Guess Who
