Really? 50 is the new 30? That means I'm really 25?! Thank you so much, as I've been fretting over turning 45 this month!

Just love this, Karen! The watercolor effects are just amazing, and I adore the perspective of your journaling. Such a joyful photo and page!

what a great title, awesome attitude,
and beautiful picture!
great work!

Wow Karen--this is really striking. Love the layout design--the line/circle intersections, and the great splashes that lead the eye outwards (but they have to come back to such a beautiful smile!). Totally fabulous journaling and highlighting, too.

What a stunningly beautiful page (and photo as well!)

BEAUTIFUL!! As are you Karen! You certainly have the right attitude!

I am fast approaching and I hope I look as good as you do when I hit the big 5-0!

Oh, I just love this one, Karen. I love your attitude and awesome approach to life. I really love how your digital waterpainting turned out. The splashes of color behind that fabulous photo look terrific. I just love the big circle too, and then the smaller circle with the journaling. You always have the most inspiring designs.

For the Journalers Junction Challenge – #2!

I took a watercolor class last quarter which I LOVED. I wanted to try my hand at digital watercoloring. I prefer hand to paint and paper and the effect but this was fun.

Journaling: I make the most of every day and want to go on record saying you never have to act your age. Youth is an attitude. An attitude of spontaneous wonder and phenomenal joy in all that life has to offer. The more laughter and silliness I incorporate into my life, the better I feel. I am so lucky to be living at a time when 50 is the new 30! Another thing – life is far too short to do anything less than enjoy it to its fullest extent.
