Project - WSW DOORS CHALLENGE - SarahSchwerin

This is my entry for the Darkroom Door WSW “Doors” challenge.
I have created a mini project that is ATC sized. The cover is a door, which opens up to reveal a diptych ATC inside.
I used plain Grungeboard sheets to create the covers, grungeboard door hinges, collections chipboard key hole, Tim Holtz distress Inks - peeled paint, vintage photo, and walnut stain. I stamped a crackle stamp by Inkadinkadoo on the font and back covers - you can see it better in the close ups - it's a subtle effect.
I embossed the keyhole and the hinges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distress embossing powders. I have also used metallic brads on the hinges and keyhole.
The inside ATC's were stamped with black Archival Ink. The backgrounds were created using the “wrinkle free distress” and “spritz and flick” techniques.
The stamps I used on the inside are as follows: Tree - Tim Holtz (Stampers Anonymous), Birds - Tim Holtz (Stampers Anonymous), “Dream” from the Darkroom Door “Little Dreams” set.
I took the photos of my project next to an old rustic looking door! Do I get extra points for that?? LMAO!
Loved this challenge!
Thanks for looking!
