Project - Pine Point by TDScrappinP posted 03/17/10 at 11:03 PM Galleries: Scrapbooking I created this layout for a Morph Challenge. I received such a fun creative layout from Barb Hogan called Sunny Weather. http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/360936-busybutterfly/1605881-digital-morph-challenge-group-1/?i=12 [twopeasinabucket.com] It's not my normal style but was very excited to try this loose fun design style. I saw the beach photo and immediately dug out these photos of my family on the beach. I had been wanting to scrap these. My scanner wasn't working so I had to photograph them to make them digital, AND they were taken with a cheap disposable camera to begin with! The quality is not very good, so I will replace them later. I started out putting the horizontal photo on the same strong angle as in Barb's LO. Barb's used blue and black as the prominent colors, so I kept the two color theme going with blue and tan. The ban of color along the top wasn't working for my LO so I used a tab and used it for my title. I love these photo so much I had to use them larger and I left them in color. Up until the end of my design, I had only 3 photos on the LO, then I found this photo on the right of my son and just had to include it. I prefer to design with an odd number of photos, but I had to make an exception, so I changed the sizes to balance it and keep interest. I kept a light background as Barb did. This was a lot of fun!
