Project - Droolie Girl

This really inspires me! For starters, who wouldn't be inspired by that sweet little face? :) But that aside, your work is really creative -- lots of intriguing details.

So adorable!! What a cute photo. I love the stamping and the vintage look you gave your page. Beautifully done.

Wanted to try out this fun technique from week 2 of Fall Stamp Camp. Clear embossed a book page – didn't have a good background stamp for this, so I used some letters & numbers I had on hand and a 7 Gypsys stamp. Then went over the whole thing with a dark distress ink. I colored some clear acrylic “bubbles” with alcohol inks to match the layout. I didn't have the foresight to leave the area blank where the bubbles would be, so I punched some paper (just with a regular 3-hole binder punch) out of another book page and adhered them and the bubbles with glossy accents. I like the way they seem to magnify the letters underneath them. Finally, I experimented with using alcohol inks to color over glossy accents (on the 3 in the upper right), since I didn't have the right color embossing powder. I'm proud to say I didn't buy anything new for this layout and used some old 7-gypsys paper that was in my stash. This was a fun layout to make and I like the way it really highlights one of my favorite photos of my youngest daughter! TFL
