wow, wow, wow wow.
Beautiful story, beautiful girl & lovely layout. I also love that you were able to journal it for her- without coloring any of the whole back story of his illness and your separation in the joy of your pregnancy with her and her own birth. I agree- she'll treasure this & so appreciate having this story recorded for her in her future.
so pretty! i love all the accents.
love this layout! The photo, the design, the colors, its beautiful!
Wonderful! I love autumn too. And you can use autumn scrapbooking kits like they were made for her.<img border='0' src='/graphics/mbicons/smilies_v2/grin.gif'>
It's a lovely name, and a wonderful story. Kids are funny, how they love to hear about their "beginnings." Sorry it took such a difficult turn, and I really admire your strength with your kids. TFS, beautiful lo, Kerry.
Project - Autumn: The Story of your Name
posted 10/09/09 at 01:09 AM
I have always wanted to use an Autumn word art for a page about my dd's name! To give you some context…My husband(ex) started to struggle with mental illness during my pregnancy. After dd was born rather than seek help, he self medicated and when dd was 1 with a very heavy and broken heart I made him leave. He really floats in and out of my life so dd hasn't seen him since she was about 2. She loves to hear stories from her early years about me and her Dad. I wanted to do this page to preserve some of her stories that she may never hear from her Dad. Supplies/Credits:All 2peas see below for details. Fonts:American Typewriter Light. The design of the page was inspired by a Lo at another site My Scrapbook Art by Nikki(Nbeaudreau)
