Project - Bird's Eye View by wiggydl posted 02/09/13 at 02:49 PM Galleries: Scrapbooking I made this layout for Wilna's Mood To Scrap challenge to use impasto on your layout. I love how Wilna layered her cut out over lots of paint but I decided to go a different direction. I took a stampendous stamp image and used the impasto on it - almost like a paint by number canvas. It was a ton of fun! I was worried about the background paper buckling so I actually used a piece of watercolour for my background paper. I watercoloured around the edge for interest. Then, when I added the photo's, I used my hobby knife to cut away some of the stamped image and slid the photos (and some of the elements) underneath the stamped image. I totally used Glitter Girl episode #32 (last year) as my layout inspiration (the second layout!) |
