A lovely piece!
Fantastic ATC Anne! Love the background and happy to see you used that stamp. Such a great sentiment. The embossed wing looks wonderful.

Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking
The background of this Artist Trading Card (ATC) is made from 140# cold-pressed watercolor paper. I used a Ranger non-stick craft sheet and sprayed Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Dragonfly on the craft sheet. Then I dipped the watercolor paper in the Glimmer Mist, turned it over, and dried it with my Heat It craft tool.
I repeated this a couple of times to get drips and splatters. Then I mixed gold Perfect Pearls with water and flicked the mixture onto the watercolor piece to add shimmery gold droplets as accents.
Once the background was dry, I stamped Penny Black 4070F Dreams Come True using Tsukineko VersaFine onyx black pigment ink. Then I set it aside overnight to let the pigment ink dry. The next morning, I used a Tim Holtz French Connection Texture Fades embossing folder to dry emboss the angel wing. These embossing folders are ATC sized and come in sets.
To finish the ATC, I added Jillibean Soup baker's twine in brown and white, a metal accent from Making Memories, and Hero Arts crystal gemstones. (I used Ranger Glossy Accents to affix the metal piece to the background.) Then I mounted the watercolor paper to a piece of thick, chocolate brown cardstock that is the final 2.5“ x 3.5” of ATCs.
Thanks for looking! :-)
