Another amazing creation here. I love how you made the background and the colours all blend together so nicely. Thanks for inspiring me to use some of the leaf shape craft items I have here.
I like how you distressed your leaf and the BG is perfect for the leaf!
Pretty card! TFS!!
that background is so cool and perfect to go with your leaf, love that you used it for your sentiment!
Anne the mists on this card are wonderful...they add lots of texture and interest.
I love this one too! Terrific background.
Wow Anne, I love how that background turned out, fabulous texture. And the leaf is so pretty, great idea to use a leaf as a home for the sentiment. TFS!

Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking
The background for this card is made using an 8.5“ x 11” stencil from ArtistCellar.com called Venice. I sprayed Pure Sunshine and Melted Chocolate Dylusions ink sprays from Ranger through the stencil onto cream cardstock.
The leaf is from Hero Arts CL457 Real Leaves. I stamped it onto cream cardstock using Wild Honey Distress Ink. Then I used a Tsukineko sponge dauber to add Scattered Straw and Shabby Shutters Distress Ink over top. I used the same sponge dauber to add Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the leaf tips.
Next I stamped the “Enjoy the Journey” sentiment from Hero Arts CL146 Travel Journey using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I added pretty glitter ribbon from American Crafts, a button, and two gems from Hero Arts CH214 Earth Mixed Accents.
Thanks for looking! :-)
