lol! Cute owl and I like the sentiment! Nice colors too!
This is adorable. Love the owl frankenstein. Thanks for stamping along with my challenge.
I love googly eyes. Of course they count. That owl and sentiment are too cute. I love that you franked the owl up. And how cool is it that you made your own striped paper. I never would have thought of this color combo for a Halloween card but it is really cool. Thanks for playing.
Hahaha! That owl is sooo cute!
Such a fun card Anne! Love the owl and the great colour combo. TFS!
What a fun card! Love the image you used and the layout of the card! TFS :)

This card combines 5 challenges in 1:
* Neysa's (neyw's) SOF12 Franken Fun [twopeasinabucket.com]
* Daria's (djc's) SOF12 Good Things-Small Packages [twopeasinabucket.com]
* Sarah's (Craft Nerd's) SOF12 Get a Move On It [twopeasinabucket.com]
* Michelle's (Meechelle's) SOF12 Secret Santa [twopeasinabucket.com], and
* Kimber's (kimbermcgray's) Saturday Sketch 10/13/12 [twopeasinabucket.com]
Sorry, Neysa, I forgot that you didn't want combos, so this won't count for your challenge, but I thought you'd like to see it anyway.
Sarah, my “moving parts” are my googly eyes. Don't know if these count - it's up to you!
I also drew inspiration from this fun halloween cake [facebook.com]!
I based the card on Kimber's sketch. I used textured metallic silver cardstock, washi tape from my generous Secret Santa Michelle (thank you!), and watercolor paper dyed with Peeled Paint Distress Stain to make the stripes.
The owl is made from watercolor paper, dyed with Peeled Paint Distress Stain. Then I stamped Hero Arts B4951 Owl on top using Ranger Archival Ink in black. I used a Micron Pen to draw on bolts and stitches to make it a Franken-Owl. Then I cut it out, added googly eyes, and attached it to the card base with foam squares for dimension. I drew the faux stitching using the same pen.
The “happy owloween” sentiment was stamped using Hero Arts CL183 Cute Letters. I have two sets of this alpha (and most alphas I buy) so that I can stamp a whole phrase like this at once - and because most of the names in my family have repeating letters. It is just easier for me.
Thanks for looking! :-)
