I had to share my newly organized scraproom since it was inspired by all the great rooms on 2Peas! This is my basement scraproom. The lighting stinks but it's BIG and its MINE! The first photo is the view from the kids' play room. I can scrap and keep and eye on the boys. The second photo is my IKEA trestle desk with a hollow-core door top, I keep my scraps on the shelf underneath. Third photo is my slatwall. I LOVE this stuuf! I can rearrange any time I want! Lots of goodies in jars & baskets and on shelves. Next is more slatwall with rubons and ribbon cards. Then my weakness… alphabets. It wasn't too bad when it was just alpha brads & metal letters. Then the chipboard came… So I got 36 snap pencil cases from Oriental Trading and put them in file boxes from Target. I love how they slide open so I can pick out what I need without dumping everything out - and more importantly -putting it all back in! I have large spools of ribbon in the Target ribbon boxes & keep my cardstock in CH files. These bins are all Club Scrap. I use it all the time, but I think it is reproducing when nobody is home! I got the library card catalog at the local University Surplus. Holds mostly stamping stuff & punches right now. On top is a cool Hire Root Boor crate I found in the attic and use for page kits. I have to keep it tidy since I also use the vinyl cutter that I originally bought for scrapbook die cutting to make signs and banners as a side business.
