AMAZING! You achieved such a cool look with the textures and opacity manipulations. Well done :D

This project was created for Erica's “make your own patterned paper” challenge. I loved this challenge. It was so much fun to play around with the tools and effects in Adobe Photoshop to create the paper from nothing! First, I used the gradient fill tool to make a basic background. I “texturized” it by using a tool that made a tile like look (very subtle but there). Then, I used some free brushes that I downloaded from Cottage Arts.net to add the white designs. I added another layer of white designs as well. I did it by using the cookie cutter tool to cut up some white paper (Vinnie Pearce's White Foundation papers). After “cutting” the flourishes, I lowered the opacity. The staples, flower, arrow strip, stitching, and word strip are all from a kit called Art Nation Blossom by Emily Powers.
