Okay, we are probably mean. My daughter turned 1 the day before Thanksgiving in 2009. She was totally eyeing my husband's plate, and we found it highly amusing. We decided to take a picture of her with the fork as though she was about to dig in. She even managed to spear a piece of lettuce. Then…We took her away and gave her mashed stuff. She wasn't that disappointed, fortunately. This year, she will turn 3 the day after Thanksgiving. I'm sure she'll appreciate having more food choices!
